Gruene Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for the 2nd Annual Gruene Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday, April 18th from 9-11 AM at Gruene Hall.
We will have a visit from the Easter Bunny, egg hunt, photo ops and face painting! Come enjoy the morning in the heart of Gruene Historic District.
Entry is free. Registration is required.
Event check-in will begin at 9am in the Gruene Hall beer garden.

Thru The Chute Boat Race
Thru the Chute is one of New Braunfels’ quirkiest and most fun-filled traditions! Held at the City Tube Chute on the Comal River, this wacky event challenges teams to build boats out of nothing but cardboard and duct tape—then ride them thru the chute! Creativity, engineering (and a good sense of humor) are all put to the test as boats race, float… or hilariously sink. With prizes for speed, design, and the most epic fails, it’s a splash-tastic day full of laughs, cheers, and unforgettable river fun!

Hill Country Craft Beer Festival is back and ready to bring the hops on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wurstfest Grounds in New Braunfels!

July 4 Patriotic Parade
Get ready to celebrate America’s birthday in true small-town style at the Downtown New Braunfels Fourth of July Parade! Sponsored by the SophieNBurg Museum, this old-fashioned celebration brings the community together with a patriotic parade followed by a short musical program from the New Braunfels Community Band on Main Plaza.
The parade kicks off at 9:15 a.m., so wear your most star-spangled attire, round up the family, and bring your lawn chairs for a classic, flag-waving good time.
The parade route starts at Castell and Bridge, rolls down San Antonio Street, loops around the Plaza, and finishes up at Seguin and Zink. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss!
